Our 2x Clearlight Saunas uses the visible wavelengths of the colour light spectrum to treat the mind and body. Chromotherapy can play a pivotal role in the treatment of reducing stress and anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders or imbalances. Chromotherapy has been reported to reduce swelling, relieve pain, decrease inflammation, accelerate open wound healing and greatly reduce overall recovery. Coloured light therapy helps by resetting circadian rhythms to promote better sleep and mood regulation.

Sauna Benefits

Our cutting-edge full spectrum infrared sauna works by having infrared light pass through your skin and into fat cells, breaking down triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerol. This process is called lipolysis, and it allows your body to rid itself of toxins stored in fat cells. Infrared therapy also works by raising your core temperature which in turn causes your heart rate to increase and your blood vessels to dilate. This increase in blood flow and improved circulation allows for greater oxygen and nutrient delivery, improving blood pressure, and stimulates the body’s natural defences for even more health benefits.

Sauna Preparation

  • We request that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to check in at the front door and your private sauna room. This will make sure you are prepared for the session.
  • Drink liquids (water #1 ) prior to and after your session.
  • Limit food intake an hour before your session. Your body will be able to detox more effectively.
  • Ensure your skin is free from lotions and oils as they tend to decrease perspiration by blocking pores (best to shower prior).
  • Remove all make-up to allow your skin to receive the full benefits of infrared heat during your session.
  • If you have high blood pressure or heart issues, please consult your doctor before starting sauna treatments.

Sauna After Care

  • Once your sauna session has ended, please stand up slowly to avoid dizziness,
  • Wipe down the Sauna and ensure the room is neat and tidy for the next member’s session. 
  • Ensure you have exited the room prior to the next session and the door has closed behind you.
  • After your sauna session, remember to relax and cool down as your body will continue sweating.
  • Thoroughly wipe down your body with your towels.
  • Your body just flushed out toxins, continue to drink plenty of liquids to rehydrate. 
  • Now is time to relax. Some people feel relaxed and ready for sleep after a session, while others feel energized. You’ll quickly find what works best for you.
